Do I need AI experience to run this?

No. The prompt library does the technical work; Session 1 of the bootcamp covers the rest. If you can run group work, you can run Untold Stories.

Do we need to visit a museum?

No unit requires a museum trip. The object is central — the museum is an amplifier, not a precondition. A photograph, a digitised object from a collection such as Europeana, or a local site works: Phase 1 only needs one object per group that students can look at closely. Where a museum partnership is available, it is what makes Untold Stories exceptional — use it.

What if the AI fails mid-lesson — or my school doesn't allow it?

Every unit is completable to its historical learning objective with no working AI at all. Each AI step carries a marked LOW-AI ROUTE at the same step. AI enriches the artefact; it may not gate the learning.

Which AI tools does it require?

Any modern multimodal AI assistant works. The prompts are tool-agnostic; where a page mentions a specific product, it is marked as a current-tooling note you can swap as tools change.

Can I adapt the materials?

Yes — everything is CC BY-SA 4.0. Translate it, localise the objects, shorten the phases. Share your adaptation under the same licence.
